The Female Sports Forum are running FREE Sports Leaders UK Level 2 and Level 3 Qualifications.
The Level 2 Qualification is open to any female age 14 years and over; who is actively involved in sport or sports coaching. It will run over 3 days; Saturday 8th February, Sunday 9th February and Saturday 29th February at Ulster University, Coleraine.
Following on from Sport NI’s Active Fit & Sporty participation survey, we would love to hear your views at a focus group session. There are locations across N.Ireland for you to join – House of Sport, The Junction- Dungannon, Londonderry Park- Ards, Tollymore National Outdoor Centre & Dungiven Sports Pavilion.
The Female Sports Forum and the Northern Ireland Sports Forum are delivering a FREE Leadership Development Programme for representatives from sporting organisations & governing bodies of sport in Northern Ireland. Sporting organisations & should nominate an applicant and endorse their application. The applicant may be a member of staff or a volunteer who is committed to making a positive impact within their sport. Only one application per sporting organisations / NGB may be submitted.
Manchester United first team coach Casey Stoney has said only an integrated approach like that being taken in Northern Ireland, will help women’s football continue to make strides on the global stage.
